I chose the Business Support with Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship as it aligns with my desired career path. The staff at Lancaster & Morecambe College are incredibly supportive and helpful, no question or request is too big. They even provide outstanding support even when you are in your workplace, which has been a huge help with my theory work. The modules on the course relate to what I do in my workplace, and have helped me with tasks within my role.
Elle enrolled on to the Business Support with Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship at Lancaster & Morecambe College. Her employer is Clarke and Pulman, an agricultural dealership, and she started the course in October 2022 and is due to finish in February 2024.

I'm looking forward to planning it, as I can use my own experiences and put a creative spin on to develop my own marketing campaign.
Elle has found the Apprenticeship to be an enjoyable learning experience, as not only will she have a Level 3 Diploma, but she will also have gained practical marketing skills in a real work setting which will enhance her CV.
While the theory studies have taught me a great deal, working with marketing professionals has been a unique learning opportunity. From my experiences on the Apprenticeship, I am now confident in my ability to perform as a Marketing Assistant in a professional environment. The knowledge and skills I have gained during my apprenticeship will benefit me throughout my career and have fuelled my confidence and motivation to set future career goals.
Elle’s role at Clarke and Pulman is something she really enjoys; there is always something different to do each day. Some of her favourite tasks include:
Assisting with the marketing for a county clothing store called Ruffords Country Lifestyle which is located next to the Garstang Clarke and Pulman Depot. She helps with their marketing including social media, designing posts, flyers, and emails and researching algorithms and trends to boost the online engagement.
I am very interested in social media marketing. I also enjoy putting together outfits and gaining knowledge on the products by seeing them in person - this is a huge perk of my job.
She also enjoys working on the TRACKS magazine which is published twice a year. The magazine promotes all businesses relating to Clarke and Pulman which includes articles and customer reviews. As part of her job, she visits farms to learn about their companies and how they've used machines purchased from Clarke and Pulman. Then she write up articles about customer experiences which will be featured in TRACKS.
This is one of my favourite projects, as learning about how to put a magazine together has been fascinating.
Some valuable skills Elle has learned throughout her Apprenticeship include:-
Based on my experience, I recommend the Apprenticeship with Lancaster & Morecambe College. This will help you to improve your skills and self-assurance when working professionally. After completing your Level 3 diploma, you will still have many choices, such as full-time employment or pursuing a higher education course. The possibilities are endless. I'd like to thank LMC for all their support but especially my tutor Olivia who has been my biggest supporter throughout the course.
