Lancaster & Morecambe College has built and developed the skills I have today. It has offered me an opportunity to use my new found confidence and leadership skills to volunteer to run a volleyball club every Tuesday with another student.

What are you doing after College?
I would like to attend Lancaster University to study Law or Criminology. I would also like to take a gap year to work as a volunteer in Calais, helping refugees.

What were the best bits about your course?
Staff are really supportive and the other students are really fun and welcoming. The college trips are always interesting and can serve as really good team building activities, for example, the Tower Wood trip.

Why did you choose your course?
I chose to do the Public Services HND as a top up from Public Services Level 3 that I had already completed. I chose to do this at the College instead of university because the staff at LMC know me and how to support my studies.

Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
I chose Lancaster & Morecambe College because I knew I wanted to go to a college straight from school, but I also really liked LMC when I looked around on the open day.

What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing the same course?
I would recommend the Public Service course. It offers amazing opportunities, trips and skills for every individual. It focusses a lot on teamwork and team building opportunities.
