Andy Hall

I have spent the majority of my career in education and learning and development, focusing on business psychology, leadership development and experiential learning.

I have worked at all levels with some national and international companies but more recently have been focusing on smaller businesses within Lancashire, working with apprentices and T Level students.

I aim to make my sessions informative, engaging and interactive to maximise the benefit to learners.

Ian Jones

Working in IT Management and Network Security for both industry and education has given me valuable knowledge within the IT sector. Over the past 20 years I have trained and mentored many IT Technicians and apprentices.

In a fast-moving sector it is important to adapt and embrace new technologies. AI is more than a sophisticated search engine and should be used to enhance teaching and learning in educational environments. This workshop aims to introduce you to AI and how to use it effectively and ethically in your work and studies.

Daniel Waterhouse

I have spent my career working in the Residential & Education childcare industry as a leader and within learning and development.

I have a keen interest in human behaviour and how this can be harnessed to support, challenge and manage individuals and teams to achieve.

I love a colorful and interactive PowerPoint presentation, and helping ignite lightbulbs above students heads!

Amy Huntington

Having started my career as a retail apprentice, moving onto study retail management, I have spent the past 10 years in the education sector. I thrive on delivering excellent customer service and my passion is to deliver training and development. I feel there is no greater sense of achievement than seeing others develop and prosper in their career.

As well as working as part of the apprenticeship team here at LMC, I also Lecture on the full time Business T-Level course.

GILLIAN NEWSHAM

I have been delivering a variety of Management and IT courses both in college and in-house for over 30 years, which gives a more flexible approach to access to training.

Having also developed my own business, I have been able to work with both small and large companies giving management support and developing their IT skills. This enables me to better tailor courses to the needs of the learners and give ‘real life’ scenarios when delivering both Management and IT courses.

I am a Microsoft Master, which gives me the opportunity to share with Microsoft my thoughts on the packages and their development for the future. I deliver Excel to Advanced Level and enjoy seeing the revelation on learners faces when they realise that Excel isn’t a mystery after all!
