If you have already completed a Level 2 qualification in Barbering and you are looking to further develop your skills, then this course is an ideal opportunity to learn more advanced techniques in barbering. You will learn a range of advanced skills - including cutting men's hair and facial hair, providing shaving and facial massage services. You will also learn about health and safety relevant to your course along with effective consultation techniques.
You will need to source your own models to support you with your learning and practical assessments during the course.
On completion of this course you will receive a City & Guilds Level 3 in Barbering.
On this course you will cover the following topics:
Health & Safety
Consultation
Cutting men's hair
Cutting facial hair
Provide shaving and face massage
The course is delivered covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the qualification with demonstrations and practical workshops.
You will be expected to undertake an extensive amount of home study on this course.
You will be required to provide your own uniform and cutting kit for the course.

You must also have a Barbering Level 2 Certificate and ESOL applicants must hold a Level 1 Literacy qualification.
This course costs £1645.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
