This 1-day course is based in the Employer Hub at LMC and is suitable to a wide range of businesses and roles looking to gain knowledge of sustainable practices in the workplace. The Level 1 qualification is worth two credits and is achieved by successfully completing the course workbook.
On this course you will:
Learn about the environmental impacts generated by business and how to respond to them
Understand what climate change is and why reducing carbon emissions from business is so important
Explore your own role and what you can do
There are a variety of progression opportunities within the College, including;
Understanding Business Responses to Environmental Challenges – Level 2
Understanding Domestic Retrofit – Level 2
There are no formal entry requirements to this course.
This course costs £20.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
