This Level 2 course in make-up will introduce you to the skills and knowledge required to apply make-up techniques, taking into account skin types, face shapes, styles of make-up and corrective techniques. You will also study associated health and safety along with client care and providing lash and brow treatments that can also enhance the make-up looks you create.
On complition of this course you will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Make -Up .
This course is a valuable route for those who wish to specialise in make-up or do not posses this skill but already but have beauty background such as those working on beauty/make-up counters within the beauty industry.

You will be tested throughout the program via online testing for theory based topics and practical assessment.
The qualification can enable you to work in a salon specialising in make-up or on a beauty counter.
Progression from this course may include updated skills to enable you to work self employed in a salon or on a beauty retail counter.
There is no formal entry criteria for this course, just a commitment to your studies including attendance, punctuality & behaviour and a proven interest in this vocational area. You must also enjoy working with people, have good communication skills, and evidence of practical skills within the area.
This course costs £241.00, including exam fees.
