Lancaster and Morecambe College is formally authorised by the British Institute of Inn keeping to provide training in the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders and qualifying examination. Under the Licensing Act 2003 anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol will have to hold a personal licence. In order to qualify for a personal licence, applicants must hold a licensing qualification which is:
• Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA)accredited
• Government approved
On completion of the course you will receive Personal License Holders BIIAB Level 2 Award.
This course costs £125.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
