The TQUK Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection provides you with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the prevention and control of infections including legislation, policies, systems and procedures relating to prevention and control of infections.
This course also covers the importance of risk assessment and of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); the causes and transmission of infection; cleaning, good waste management practice and decontamination. It will prepare you to progress to a qualification in the same or another subject area and prepare you for employment.

This course costs FREE, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
