Last week, some of our Esports students made their way to Manchester to visit Media City to battle it out on the UK HADO Court.
Avoiding the great British weather, our students attended the BBC Children In Need event alongside their tutor, Kevin. The Sim Rig was ready and waiting for their arrival as well as students from UTC Media City, Access Creative College, Future Skills and students from the University of Salford Business School.
There was even time for a friendly match earlier in the day to get warmed up against students from The Manchester Metropolitian University where the chance to get really stuck in began.
The Salford Business School team said,
The enthusiasm is infectious! Both students and our dedicated academic team members are thoroughly enjoying themselves, uniting for a wonderful cause.
We want to say a huge thank you to Lisa Kelly and Rowan Kirby from the BBC for making the event happen and for giving our students the chance to develop their knowledge further in the world of business and gaming.
The BBC Children In Need Show will air on BBC1 on 10 November, let's see if we made the cut! ????
