On the 27 March 2024, the third annual Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards took place at The Great Hall, Lancaster University, honouring those within the local area dedicated to apprenticeships across a wide range of industries.
The Third Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards celebrate and recognise the hardworking individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships and how they shape our future.
Not only does winning an award mean recognition for the apprentice, but it's also a major morale boost for the company and workforce that supports the apprentice.
The event was attended by employers and employees from across the Lancashire region to celebrate the region's apprentices and the businesses they are working with. Guests in attendance enjoyed a formal sit down meal before the awards ceremony took place, followed by some entertainment to complete the evening.
Caitlain Woods was shortlisted as a finalist alongside Alex Gill, Jade Angle and Lucy Wright. After a tense evening of announcements in other categories, Caitlain was honored as the overall winner in the Advanced Apprenticeship category.
Caitlain is enrolled on a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship with Lancaster & Morecambe College and is employed as an Apprentice Administrative Assistant at Lancaster University. She is a rising star and consistently executes her tasks with effectiveness and efficiency. Since starting her role, she has implemented various improvements to streamline processes and we can't wait to see what she accomplishes in the future.
Congratulations from everyone at Lancaster & Morecambe College!
