I love working at Lancaster & Morecambe College with such an amazing team that are passionate about delivering outstanding teaching across the departments. The Apprenticeship courses at LMC are well developed programmes that offer students amazing opportunities and experiences, whilst allowing them to earn while they learn as they progress through the Apprenticeship.

Clare Brown started working at Lancaster & Morecambe College in April 2018. Clare works in the work based learning team as our Lead Training Co-ordinator here at LMC.

In Clare's role, her main responsibilities are to take care of all the Hairdressing Apprenticeships. She works very closely with the apprentices that have chosen to train through the College and their employers, making sure everything can run smoothly and the apprentices are getting the right level of training for the courses they are doing to achieve their qualification.

She also makes sure all the students receive all the support they can to complete their course internally and externally within the workplace and that they have access to the best training possible to achieve their goals.

Clare described that she loves working at LMC and having such a dedicated team to work with that make their main focus the progression of the students.

Clare expressed that deciding to become an Apprentice through our excellent programme is an opportunity not to miss:

I would say the Apprenticeship courses at LMC are well developed programmes that offer students amazing opportunities and experiences, whilst allowing them to earn while they learn as they progress through the Apprenticeship.
