Teaching is my favourite part of the role, I love being able to help people reach that lightbulb moment in class! I also enjoy being able to inspire the next generation of Residential workers.
Daniel started working at Lancaster & Morecambe College in 2019 as part of the Residential Childcare team.
After a year of working in the Residential Childcare team, Daniel stepped up to a lead role. The Residential Childcare courses at LMC are designed for those who are already in employment and are wishing to upskill in their chosen field.

As well as teaching on the Residential Childcare courses, Daniel also assists with the delivery of our Leadership & Management courses. These courses are designed to update your skills, allow you to make that career change you've always wanted or even just for personal development.
I teach across the Residential Childcare, Leadership & Management and bespoke courses, so I meet a lot of different people who are all at different stages of their individual learning journeys, and I have the opportunity to aid my students in their journey.
When asked what he would say to someone thinking of studying one of his courses, Daniel said:
Helping people to achieve when they thought they couldn’t, is a brilliant part of my job role. Don’t um and err, just do it and challenge yourself!
