The T Level in Management and Administration is a Level-3, 2-year programme which is suitable for anyone wanting a career within an administration or management role. The course is equivalent to 3 A Levels.
This qualification provides students with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training or study in the business sector. It gives learners a broad understanding of the industry and job roles, and to develop the core skills you will need to apply when working in the industry.
The programme of study is up to five days a week, which is usually four days in college and one day in an industrial placement. There will be a requirement for students to complete home study as part of this qualification.
My favourite part of my role is being able to recall my industry knowledge and then passing it onto my students. The knowledge I have from working in the industry gives the students a better understanding of real life situations and how to transfer their skills into future careers.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience of animals with students and seeing a learners journey as they make progress. The best part of teaching the course would definitely be the experience we offer learners, it's a unique and hands on way of developing their knowledge of working with animals.
My favourite part of my job is helping people achieve their GCSE English, a key qualification which will open doors for them in the future.
If you are interested in working with animals, this is a great course for you! As not only do you gain the knowledge and practical skills to work with animals, but you also gain the employability skills to be able to work in teams and work within the industry. It's important to remember that jobs in the animal industry are not just about working with animals, you need to have the skills to deal with people too!
I really enjoy being part of the LMC Beauty Team and working within the department. Watching my students grow and develop their ideas and skillsets week on week is a really exciting part of my role, particularly when I can see them challenging themselves to get creative and try out new and different ideas.
My favourite part of my role is helping my students take the first step towards fulfilling their ambitions to go to university and, eventually, progressing into their dream careers.
